Workshop Structure
The workshop will focus on three fundamental aspects:
- Transmission of Forum Theater Techniques Over two days, participants will be introduced to the essential techniques for creating Forum Theater performances. This involves staging real-life situations featuring injustice, followed by audience improvisation aimed at altering the story. This process serves as a “virtual rehearsal” to inspire and prepare for real-world change.
- Live Demonstration A short performance from Renato Curci’s repertoire will be presented as a practical example of the techniques explored.
- Experiential Reflection The workshop will provide an opportunity to reflect on theatrical techniques and direction used during a recent experience in the Medina Gounass neighborhood of Dakar, conducted in April and May of this year.
This workshop is open to everyone interested in exploring the power of theater as a means of transformation and collective expression.
The event is free of charge and will be held in Italian.
