DESCRIPTION:Theatre in Palm will be hosting a series of residencies for emerging theatre artists throughout 2024!\nThe residencies offer the artists a chance for professional development and building their professional networks in Europe. The main purpose of the residencies is to foster collaboration\, spark inspiration and create shared insights and experiences while building meaningful and life-changing connections. \nBroaden your horizons – network with other artists and find job opportunities\nThe residencies will take place in 12 different countries during different times in 2024. You can apply to any of the residencies. SUMMARY:CUERPOS ERRANTES - Theatre in Palm Roadshow and LOOP City Screen 2024 - Barcelona\, Spain
DESCRIPTION:Opening: Friday\, November 15 at 7:00 p.m.\nPerformance: 7:30 p.m.\nLocation: Carrer d’Espronceda 326\, nave 5\, Barcelona\, Spain\nCuerpos Errantes is the translation of the Greek ‘plankton’\, describing a collection of organisms floating adrift. Their role in aquatic ecosystems\, especially marine ecosystems\, is essential\, as among other things they contribute to oxygen production\, carbon absorption and cloud formation. This experimental project\, the result of a collaboration between the Marine Sciences Institute (CSIC)\, Espronceda Institute of Art & Culture\, and the Inervo Company\, aims to make the invisible visible and explore through different performative audiovisual expressions the interconnection between the human and non-human worlds. The project highlights the need for dialogue between science and art for the creation of new narratives. \nThis project is framed within the interuniversity program PETRI-MED\, which analyzes the impact of this element in its immediate context\, and the European project THEATER IN PALM\, which promotes international and intercultural collaboration for new performative artistic languages.
