DESCRIPTION:Theatre in Palm will be hosting a series of residencies for emerging theatre artists throughout 2024!\nThe residencies offer the artists a chance for professional development and building their professional networks in Europe. The main purpose of the residencies is to foster collaboration\, spark inspiration and create shared insights and experiences while building meaningful and life-changing connections. \nBroaden your horizons – network with other artists and find job opportunities\nThe residencies will take place in 12 different countries during different times in 2024. You can apply to any of the residencies. SUMMARY:SWORDS Festival
DESCRIPTION:The first edition of SwordS Festival brings before the Bucharest public authors\, musicians and performers\, in three consecutive evenings of spoken word performances\, complemented by music and multimedia projections – between September 27-29\, at Control Club. \n\n\n\nOn the first day of the festival – Friday\, September 27th of September – the author and performer Stephen James Smith (Ireland) will take the stage in Control Club together with the poet Florin Iaru and the free-jazz guitarist Sian Brie\, Cristina Drăghici\, Sorin Despot and Alberto Păduraru.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn Saturday SwordS Festival has as guests the poets Mina Decu\, Livia Ștefan\, Elena Vlădăreanu\, Tiberiu Neacșu\, as well as the Cinematica.Live project (Electrons in Slow Motion + IM Pulse)\, along with a special guest.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe last day of festival\, Sunday\, September 29\, brings on stage: the actress Cristina Bordeanu\, the performers Jean-Lorin Sterian\, Mugur Grosu\, the Torsan/Bălan duo and the Cinematica.Live project (Electrons in Slow Motion + IM Pulse) having Cosmin Perța as a guest in the Poetry Riot performance.\n\n\n\nTickets: https://eventbook.ro/music/bilete-swords-festival-control-club \nModerator: Cosmin Perța. \nThe performances will be completed by an audio-visual set by Iulian Morar. \nSWORDS festival is part of Local Theatre Movement by the platform Theatre in Palm.
