Master of Commedia dell’Arte and comic disciplines. He runs the International School of the Comic Actor in Reggio Emilia\, Italy.\nFava designs and makes leather masks for use at his school and in his shows. As this is a joint process between the audience and performers\, how does one plan or strategise for a specific outcome involving the former\, an unknown element till showtime? Are there universal thresholds of meaning that a theatrical performer can access cutting across cultural barriers and if so\, are there rules for adapting a performance\, both responsively and responsibly\, as customised for both local actors and audience? We will explore these questions by contextualizing the theatrical process as a Bohmian dialogue between performer\, story and the audience and see if this language throws up new ways of looking at performative impact. We will start off by using examples from JÁ’s repertoire and theatrical history to dig through and highlight aspects of and potential solutions to these questions. \nThe event will be hosted by JÀ International Theatre and delivered by Suresh Nampuri\, play writer\, director\, actor\, producer and a founder of JÀ International Theatre in Lisbon\, Portugal. \nWhen: 24.2.2023 at 13.00-14.30 CET \nWhere: Online\, Zoom meeting \nTo whom: Open for everyone \nJoin the ZOOM meeting here. \nYou´re most welcome to join this event!
