Their role in aquatic ecosystems\, especially marine ecosystems\, is essential\, as among other things they contribute to oxygen production\, carbon absorption and cloud formation. This experimental project\, the result of a collaboration between the Marine Sciences Institute (CSIC)\, Espronceda Institute of Art & Culture\, and the Inervo Company\, aims to make the invisible visible and explore through different performative audiovisual expressions the interconnection between the human and non-human worlds. The project highlights the need for dialogue between science and art for the creation of new narratives. \nThis project is framed within the interuniversity program PETRI-MED\, which analyzes the impact of this element in its immediate context\, and the European project THEATER IN PALM\, which promotes international and intercultural collaboration for new performative artistic languages. It is also part of the LOOP City Screen 2024 in Barcelona. \nArtistic Direction\nBenjamín Slavutzky\nCarlotta Storelli \nCurated by\nAlessia Gervasone\nElisabetta Broglio \nDancers\nCarlotta Storelli\nFabiana Paisani\nLluvia Roja\nSandra Barroso Mancera \nPerformers\nAlexandra Anastasiadou\nCarlotta Storelli\nElisabetta Broglio\nMarta Fernandez Bessa\nNathalie Rey \nVoiceover Artists\nFabiana Paisani\nLluvia Roja\nMarta Fernandez Bessa\nSandra Barroso Mancera\nSara Broto \nEditing and Montage\nSara Broto\nTeddy Chang \nSound Editing and Soundtrack\nMaribel Tafur\nSara Broto \nInteractive Video\nNatalia Gima \nCamera\nBenjamín Slavutzky\nDario Cottafava\nElisabetta Broglio\nAlessia Gervasone\nTeddy Chang\nVitor Schietti \nDrone Pilot\nMarco Talone \nCommunication\nMalena Vinay\nMaria Rúbies Vistuer \nGraphics and Production\nLiza Adamchuk \nProduction\nEspronceda\, Institute of Art and Culture\nInstitute of Marine Sciences (CSIC) \nAcknowledgements\nSouLivre\, Denise Bragueto\, Magda Vila\, Vanessa Balagué Año\, Liza Adamchuk\, Malena Vinay\, Césarine Wisline Lafontant\, Ciara MoOom\, Cristina Dezi\, David Mediel (Feroce)\, Eléonore Ozanne\, Esther Sanchez Sosa\, Fredo Landaveri\, Javiera Gazitua Charnes\, Natalia Cabrera\, Paula Vicente Puiggros\, Verónica Peña\, Xavier Muñoz URL:https://theatreinpalm.eu/event/cuerpos-errantes-theatre-in-palm-roadshow-and-loop-city-screen-2024-barcelona-spain/ LOCATION:Espronceda Institute of Art & Culture\, C. de Espronceda\, 326\, Nave 4 y 5\, Barcelona\, 08027\, Spain CATEGORIES:Roadshow ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/png:https://theatreinpalm.eu/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Cuerpos-Errantes-FINAL.png END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;TZID=Europe/Helsinki:20241118T100000 DTEND;TZID=Europe/Helsinki:20241118T140000 DTSTAMP:20250531T000618 CREATED:20241115T115641Z LAST-MODIFIED:20250522T133055Z UID:10000515-1731924000-1731938400@theatreinpalm.eu SUMMARY:Exploring extended reality (XR) technologies in performing arts DESCRIPTION:  \nA Theatre in Palm workshop titled Exploring Extended Reality (XR) Technologies in Performing Arts will take place on Monday\, November 18\, 2024\, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Theatro Polis (Virtual Production Studio) in Nicosia. \nThis workshop\, co-organized by the \,  Cyprus Theatre Organization (THOC)\, and the CYENS Center\, is designed for professionals in the performing arts who are interested in exploring how Extended Reality (XR) technologies—such as Virtual Reality (VR)\, Augmented Reality (AR)\, and Mixed Reality (MR)—can be integrated into their creative practices. \nThe workshop will include: \n\nGreetings and Opening Remarks\n\nDr. Pantelis Voutouris\, Chairman of the Board\, THOC\nDr. Ioanna Chatzikostis\, Director\, Department of Contemporary Culture\n\n\nIntroduction to XR Technologies in Art and Culture\nSpeaker: Panagiotis Charalambous (Duration: 1 hour)\nPresentation of Relevant Projects and XR Applications in Theatre\nSpeaker: Kleanthis Neokleous (Duration: 1 hour)\nDemonstration of Virtual Set Design and XR Integration\nSpeaker: Dimitris Kontis (Duration: 1 hour)\nOpen Discussion with Speakers and Participants\n\nThis workshop is an invaluable opportunity for set designers\, directors\, actors\, musicians\, technicians\, and anyone involved in the performing arts to learn how to adapt to the digital landscape and expand their creative possibilities using cutting-edge technology. \nRegistration is free\, but spaces are limited.
