DESCRIPTION:“Back to the woods in a midsummer night” is an event combining art and social reflection\, dedicated to the theme of conscious consumption. In a world characterized by profound inequalities and injustices\, the current economic system is often seen as the main source of many of the global problems we face. However\, this system is rarely questioned or alternatives imagined. \nThe event takes the form of a theatrical roadshow and aims to address a challenge. Starting from the idea that consumer awareness can be a powerful tool to bring about significant change\, the event focuses on the importance of conscious consumption as a means to mitigate the negative effects of our economic system. Through an artistic performance\, the focal points of a possible social and economic paradigm shift will be highlighted. \nAt a time when many people feel powerless in the face of global problems\, art can play a fundamental role in restoring understanding and hope. The event will not only entertain but offer tools for understanding and models of virtuous behavior\, highlighting the distortions of a system that needs to be challenged. \nThe aim is to stimulate collective reflection and inspire concrete change. Theatre can reveal hidden truths and motivate the audience to imagine and build a better future. \nThe event is realized as the outcome of a summer workshop run by professionals from the Mamimò theatre center and involving emerging artists with the aim of investigating different themes and works by transforming them into theatre performances. \nBook your place: biglietteria@mamimo.it \nThe event is in Italian and is free of charge!

SUMMARY:Theatre Movement - “Tu S.E.I. Antigone”
DESCRIPTION:The performance “Tu S.E.I. Antigone” combines theatre and social awareness. The performance connects the Antigone of the philosopher Sophocles with the speech by António Gutierrez\, current Secretary-General of the United Nations Secretary-General of the United Nations\, on climate change\, themes already dealt with in previous artistic residencies of the Theatre in Palm project which was decided given continuity and further artistic expression. \nThe main themes dealt with are: \n\nSocial Justice: Through Antigone by Sophocles\, we will reflect on the courage to oppose injustice.\nClimate Change: The speech by Gutierrez will help us better understand the urgency of the environmental crisis and the role of art in raising awareness and action.\n\nThe event aims to promote awareness on crucial issues and to engage the audience in a meaningful theatrical experience.The idea is to foster participation and collective action through art\, emphasizing the importance of environmental preservation. \nThe Happening is open to the public and represents a unique opportunity to deepen knowledge on topics of great relevance.
