Coffee and snacks are included; please bring your own lunch. \n  \nABOUT THE COURSE\nGet an introduction to generative AI and discover its potential in artistic work. This workshop provides you with the opportunity to explore how you can use AI to enhance and strengthen your creative processes. You will have the chance to work practically with AI tools and receive guidance on how to easily start exploring AI in your artistic work. \nWORKSHOP WILL COVER\n\nWhat is generative AI and how does it work? Examples of various AI tools to use in your creative work.\nWriting prompts\, what they are\, and how to use them.\nHow you can use AI in your creative processes (generate and brainstorm ideas\, create content\, explore concepts\, develop ideas with AI-generated prototypes and quick sketches as a foundation\, work with text and planning\, and gain multiple perspectives).\n\nWelcome!\n  \nAbout the workshop leaders\nAgnes Török is a stage poet\, playwright\, and theater director. They have conducted courses for professional artists in project management\, marketing\, and artistic practice at institutions such as Konstfack\, DOCH\, SMI\, Transit Kulturinkubator\, and SKH\, as well as at several of the artistic centers. They believe that effective tools and clear frameworks free up time for creativity and artistic focus. \nCharlie Nelson Prag is a project manager\, educator\, and street dancer. As an educator\, she has several years of experience teaching and mentoring professional artists in entrepreneurship\, project management\, and artistic practice at Stockholm’s Konstnärliga Högskola\, Folkuniversitetet\, and Transit Kulturinkubator. In recent years\, her focus has been on digitization and exploring innovative methods to enhance experiences\, stimulate creativity\, and promote collaboration and learning processes through digital tools. \nCharlie and Agnes often collaborate to develop new pedagogical and artistic methods\, at the intersection of art\, practice\, and technology. SUMMARY:European Theatre Lab: Managing auditions in a digital world
DESCRIPTION:Intercult invites you to a workshop\, within the Theater in Palm project\, led by Elin Hilläng. The workshop “Managing Auditions in a Digital World” will guide participants to explore how the performing arts can use film\, video calls and self-tapes during the audition process.  \nWe are living in a digital world. Video calls and self-tapes open doors to remote auditions\, both nationally and internationally. In this workshop we will explore how the performing arts can use film\, video calls and self-tapes during the audition process.  \nA self-tape is a filmed audition that the actor sends to the casting director instead of auditioning physically on site. We will discuss about how you can prepare and film a shorter dialogue\, use counter-readers and portrait sequences in the scene in the limited space that self-tapes provide the conditions for. After that\, we will experiment with filmed sequences within the participants’ own performing arts areas\, and try doing the audition digitally over video calls. In which ways can the film industry inspire you in your work?  \n MATERIAL \n\nYou will use your own mobile phones during the filming\, so make sure they have enough space\, they are charged and you have your mobile charger with you.\nBring your laptop to Day 2 when we explore video calling.\n\n PREPARATIONS \n\nWhen you are registered\, you will be given a dialogue to prepare for day 1. Learn the lines\, and follow the instructions to analyze the dialogue.\nPrepare your own material in your own performing arts area for day 2.\n\n ABOUT THE COURSE LEADER \nElin Hilläng is a trained actor at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She works as a theatre pedagogue and film acting pedagogue\, at the same time she freelances as an actor and runs the Uppsala-based non-profit theatre association “Teater Elin”. SUMMARY:European Theatre Lab: Vladimir Bouchler Master Class “Interdisciplinary Dialogue method”
DESCRIPTION:Intercult invites all interested performing artists to a unique opportunity to participate in a one- or two-day character workshop on 17.-18.1.2023 in Stockholm. \nThe Master Class is led by a well-known and experienced theater educator\, Professor Vladimir Bouchler – Artistic Director of the European Theater and Film Institute and educator of acting and directing in theater and film\, with a long track record of working with famous actors in and outside of Europe. \nThe workshop will focus on how to physically embody character and work with style and space.
