Join us for ‘Aisling’, a unique bi-lingual event in celebration of the Irish language, the arts and human rights and Celtic Culture through performance, poetry and song. An evening of entertainment in Irish and English featuring artists performing poetry, music, song and chat followed by a fun, post-show ‘Meet and Greet’ wine and cheese reception with the artists.
Supporting and showcasing the work of award-winning, established and emerging artists working in the Irish language with a focus on the arts for equality, human rights and diversity. Artists include Áine Ní Ghlinn, poet and children’s writer, Laureate na nÓg 2020-2023 / Áine Ní Ghlinn, file agus scríbhneoir do dhaoine óga, Laureate na nÓg 2020-2023; Ciara Ní É, bi-lingual poet, writer and broadcaster/file dátheangach, scríbhneoir agus craoltóir; Féilim James, writer/scríbhneoir; Colm MacGearailt, spoken word artist, actor, and historian/ ealaíontóir focal labhartha, aisteoir agus staraí; Rob Harrington, actor, singer, director/ aisteoir, amhránaí, agus stiúrthóir; Michael McCabe, performer/taibheoir; Finn O Driscoll, Rap artist, singer and songwriter/ealaíontóir rap, amhránaí, cumadóir amhrán; and Mary Moynihan, writer, theatre and film-maker/scríbhneoir, déantóir amharclainne agus scannán.
