Ali Safari is a playwright and director of theater and cinema, a full member of the Iranian Playwrights Association, and a member of the Iran Theater House. He has been active in this profession since 2005. Alongside his main profession, he has collaborated as a public relations manager in various cinematic and theatrical works. Safari has also worked as a journalist for several media outlets, including “Cafe Theater” (for two years), “Mizan News Agency” (for seven years), and part-time for the cultural and artistic website “Derang.”
As a playwright, he was nominated for the best adapted screenplay at the 10th Annual Literary Festival. So far, seven of his plays have been published. In cinema, he has participated as a director with his short film “No. 9,” which was featured in 35 international festivals and won several awards. Internationally, Safari has also directed two plays, *Women’s Auschwitz* and *Holodomor*, which have been performed in Ukraine and Poland.
