Platform where anyone can test their ideas on stage
“Leisure Wednesday – Performatively Affirmed Ideas” returns to CNDB (The National Center for Dance in Bucharest) in a special edition, on Saturday, April 6th, and Sunday, April 7th. Perhaps the most well-known project of CNDB and the one that attracted a large audience in the years when the institution operated in the building of the National Theater, “Leisure Wednesday” is a format initiated and conceived by artists Eduard Gabia and Maria Baroncea, and presented in collaboration with Paula Dunker.
Democratic and accessible space for everyone
“Leisure Wednesday – Performatively Affirmed Ideas” is an open platform where anyone can test their ideas on stage, provided they register in advance. Anyone can participate, regardless of age, profession, education, or training. The stage thus becomes a democratic and accessible space for everyone, creating conditions for meetings and dialogues without boundaries, beyond disciplines, backgrounds, and experiences.
On April 6th, Eduard Gabia, Maria Baroncea, and Paula Dunker will invite some of the participants from previous editions to revisit their own interventions within the project.
