La MaMa Umbria International and La MaMa E.T.C. (in partnership with Culture Moves Europe) are offering a Residency in Italy for European Playwrights / Dramturges / Writers / Performing Artists.
The residency dates will be: April 1-21, 2025.

Inspired by the “achene” seeds that spread far and wide, the residency supports new and innovative projects in theater, dance, and multidisciplinary performance.
What’s Included:
- Full residency with guidance from experienced mentors and tutors
- Collaborative setting in a historic international arts residency
- Travel reimbursement up to €700 and a daily allowance
- Shared accommodation and workspaces
Eligibility:
Open to individuals or collectives (excluding Italy) working on theater texts, multidisciplinary projects, or dramaturgical concepts in development.How to Apply:
Submit a motivation letter, project proposal, CV, and supporting materials by October 20th, 2025 via the application form indicated in the Open Call and in the La MaMa Umbria website. Selection criteria include project originality, potential for growth, and alignment with the residency’s goals.Ideal for young artists ready to experiment with new forms of storytelling!
