As a part of the project Theatre In Palm and in collaboration with Teater Giljotin, Intercult is organizing an evening dedicated to performance art! Experience the performance “Beautiful Souls” by Tana Maneva, inspired by Hegel’s concept of the same name, the empty shell, and the pursuit of perfection, big words, and moral superiority.
Before the performance, the audience is invited to mingle and network with other theatre enthusiasts and talk to Intercult about Theatre in Palm and other European cultural projects.
An artist talk will be held after the show about Tana Manevas unique stage language ANKOKU PERFORMANCE LANGUAGE, a mix of Butoh, performance, and theatre. How can this universal language be used in international contexts? What place do theatre methods and techniques have in contemporary performing arts, and how can “emerging artists” benefit from them? The audience will also have the opportunity to ask questions to Tana and the cast.
